1 Prepare your materials

3 Sew the shoulder seams
▪ First, sew the shoulder seams of your bodice together. This creates the opening where the sleeve will be

back.
▪ These notches help you align the sleeve correctly.
5 Create ease stitches
▪ Along the sleeve cap (the curved top edge), sew two rows of gathering stitches.

8 Press and finish
