Checking height
The height of surfaces can be checked by the use of a flat jaw (Figs 11 & 12) along with a base and a slip gauge
holder.

Checking centre distance of holes
With the help of precision cylindrical pins, the centre distance between holes can be accurately measured. (Fig 13)
