TRAINEES PLACED AT RAYMOND, BENGALURU

On 3rd July 2025, a successful placement drive was conducted at NSTI(W), Kolkata, marking a proud
moment for the institute and its trainees.

A total of 20 trainees from the Fashion Design & Technology (FDT) and Dress Making (DM) trades were
selected by Raymond, Bengaluru—one of India’s leading fashion and lifestyle brands.

This achievement highlights the institute’s continious effort in bridging skill training with real-world
employment opportunities, empowering students to step confidently into the industry.

colleges in India, NLMS has significantly
improved the transparency and accuracy
of leave management. It marks a major
step forward in digital transformation
within the training ecosystem, strengthening
administrative processes and ensuring better
service delivery for students and staff alike.

NSTI Kanpur has introduced an innovative digital
solution – the NSTI Leave Management System
(NLMS) – to streamline and simplify the leave
application process for students and administrators.
Developed by Uday Pratap, with design by
Vishal, testing support from Arun Kumar, and
suggested by Shri. Hemant Singh, NLMS replaces
the traditional paper-based system with a fast,
transparent, and user-friendly mobile application.

The NLMS app offers several key features,
including real-time tracking of leave status,
Google Sign-In for secure access, and a structured
three-tier management system where students
apply, sub-admins verify, and administrators
approve. Customized dashboards based on user
roles further enhance usability and efficiency.
