PM eVidya Channels under MSDE (BISAG - N)
PM eVidya is an innovative and unique
initiative by the Ministry of Education,
Government of India, to facilitate multi-
mode access to digital/online teaching-
learning content for Trainees and Trainers.
The uniqueness of PM e-Vidya is that
it provides accessibility of educational
content to all with its multi-mode set-up
of remote learning platforms, including
internet, radio, community radio, podcast,
and TV.

In the Union Budget 2022-23, the
Government announced a significant
expansion of the program, increasing the
number of dedicated TV channels from

12 to 200. This initiative aims to deliver quality education in regional languages, making learning more inclusive
and equitable.

The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) has made the National Instructional Media
Institute (NIMI) the nodal agency to manage six channels. These channels, focus on skill development via
interactive content and are broadcasted through the Bhaskaracharya National Institute for Space Applications
and Geoinformatics (BISAG-N).
The content being streamed in these channels are as follows:

Next month, NIMI plans to organize a Trivia Time exciting interactive video. This initiative will also allow
contest aimed at helping trainees/students to refresh NIMI to gather valuable feedback on the viewership of
their knowledge in their respective trades through an the PM eVidya channels.
