Troubles and remedies in starting system

Fault Trouble Remedies

1 Motor not working Discharged battery Recharge the battery
Reduction in battery voltage due to Replace the battery
deterioration in the battery.
Improper connection of battery terminals. Check the combination
Loose connection of ground cable. Do the combination
Fuse failure Replace the fuse
Incorrect connection of ignition switch and Change the magnetic and

Loosening of load wire coupler Tight the load wire coupler
Failure of starter motor control relay. Repair the relay
2 Motor not running (sound Commutator burning out Replace the commutator
of magnetic switch being Weakening of bush spring Replace the bush assembly

Interruption of rotation of the crankshaft Make repairs
Short circuit of armature layers. Replace the armature
3 Starting motor operating too Incorrect key connections of magnetic Convert the magnetic switch
