Function: The primary function of a power take-off (PTO) is to transfer power from the engine of a vehicle or
machine to operate auxiliary equipment. This could include powering hydraulic pumps, generators, winches,
agricultural implements, or other machinery. The PTO system allows for efficient use of the vehicle or machine’s
power source to drive additional equipment without needing separate engines or motors for each device.
Component: The main components of a power take-off (PTO) system typically include:

1 PTO Output Shaft: This shaft extends from the vehicle’s transmission or engine and transmits power to the
              attached auxiliary equipment.

2 PTO Clutch: The clutch engages and disengages the PTO shaft, allowing the operator to control when power
is transferred to the auxiliary equipment.
