Remove the leg from the accelerator. Repeat the steps often to have pedal control.
Once you have got control over the machine and confident then do Paper exercise.

5 Note the needle and paper movement. Also note the speed of the machine.
6 Stop the machine by removing the foot from the pedal.

Perform stitch lines in different shape on paper and fabric
1 Draw lines on A4 paper
2 Draw and take Printout of the following the exercise and Practice it in machine. While stitching on paper don’t
thread the needle.
3 Place the paper under the presser foot.
4 Lower the pressure foot lever
5 Start moving the treadle, while you push the fly wheel of the machine by right hand towards yourself.
6 Continue the movement of the treadle with your feet. While stitching, control the material with both hands. With
the movement of machine the feed-dog will automatically transport the material but you have to pay attention
on the needle and presser foot to maintain the correct line of the stitches.
7 After practicing on paper, repeat the same exercise on fabric. Now you have to thread both the needle and
bobbin thread of the machine.
Now perform all the stitch lines once on double layered cloth of 20 x 22.5 cm. Cut the material for 7 sets (i.e. 14
pieces), put two pieces together above each other, best and stitch all around leaving 0.5 cm from all edges. (Fig 1)
