TASK 5: Stitch the blouse
1 Start by sewing the darts together both in the Front part and Back Part of the Blouse.
2 Attach the yoke/belt facings to the front of the blouse.
3 Complete the Center front placket by working on both the left and right sides.

4 Connect the front and back shoulders.
5 Attach the neckline facings and finish the neckline.
6 Fold and sew the bottom hem of the sleeve.
7 Attach the sleeves to the armhole of blouse.
8 Stitch the underarm of sleeve.

9 Sew the side seams together to close the blouse.
10 Stitch Hook and eye on the placket.
11 Trim the extra threads and press the blouse

Blouse placket
Objectives : At the end of this exercise you shall be able to:
• prepare the placket for blouse.

Yoke joining
1 Take the front part of blouse and stitch all the darts as marked
2 Take the yoke and stitch with the front part of blouse Fig 1,2,3

3 Take placket and front pieces. Take one piece of placket and fold it lengthwise wrong sides together. Place
the raw edge of folded a strip along the center edge of right front piece on right side, pin and baste, stitch
on seam line (Fig 4)
