Cotton, Polyester, Silk, Shirt Cloth, Any other suitable material
Required material= 2.5 meters, canvas, buttons, thread

Construction (front)
0 – 1 = Full length of shirt +2.5 cm for hem = 80 +2.5= 82.5 cm
0 – N = 2 cm for over lapping of button & button hole = 2 cm

= Join N – M
N – A = M – B = 6cm for front placket = 6 cm
0 – 2 = 1 /4 of chest – 1.5 cm = 22.5 – 1.5 = 21 cm
0 – 3 = Natural waist = 42 cm
0 – 4 = 1/2 of yoke +1 cm for seam = 20.5 cm + 1 cm =21.5 cm

5 = Is square from 2 & 4
0 – 6 = 1/6 of Neck = 6.5 cm
0 – 7 = 1/6 of Neck + 1 cm =7.5 cm
4 – 8 = 1/24 of chest (Shoulder slope) = 3.7 cm

Draw the neck shape from 7 – 6 and join 6 – 8
5 – 9 = 2.5 cm = 2.5 cm
2 – 10 = 1/4 of Chest + 6 cm = 22.5 + 6 = 28.5 cm
3 – 11 = 2 - 10 measure - 1.5 cm = 27 cm
1 – 12 = 2 - 10 measure = 28.5 cm

Draw the front armhole shape 10 – 9 – 8 join from 10 – 11 – 12
12 – 13 = 1/8 of chest = 11.25 cm
12 – 14 = 6 cm
Draw the shape 13 – 14 as the diagram
Chest pocket mark:
2 – 15 = 4 cm
15 – 16 = Pocket width (1/8 of chest + 1.5 cm) = 11.25 +1.5 = 12.75 cm
Draw the square down from 16
16 – 17 = Pocket length = (pocket width) 12.75+ 1.5 cm =14.25 cm

18 = Is square from 15 – 17
Back
0 – 19 = 4 cm for back pleat
1 – 20 = 4 cm Join 19 – 20

19 – 21 = 4 – 22 = 1.5 cm
22 – 23 = 1.5 cm
X = Is midway of 21 – 22
X – Y = 4 cm for pleat make the pleat and draw the shape Y – 23
24 = Is mid of 5 – 23 draw the back arm/hole shape (10 – 24 - 23 )
