EXERCISE 95 : Verify speed control of AC Motor

(Induction Motor) using AC Drive

Objectives

At the end of this exercise you shall be able to
• identify the terminals of the given ac drive
• practice on setting of parameters in the given ac drive
• start, run, change the direction of rotation and control the speed of three phase induction motor using different
digital and analog inputs of the drive.

• Screw driver 100,150,200mm - 1 No Each. • 3 ph induction motor 2HP,1440rpm - 1 No.
• D.E. spanner set 5mm - 30mm - 1 Set. Materials
• Side cutting plier 150 mm - 1 No. 2
• Screw driver 150 mm - 1 No. • Insulated wire 1mm ,1100V 2 - 4m.
• Connector screw driver 100 mm - 1 No. • PVC stranded copper cable. 1.5 mm - 15m.
• Neon tester 0 - 500V - 1 No. • Insulated tape - 1 No.
• Wire stripper 75 mm - 1 No.
