UJT (Uni-junction transistor) : It has two doped regions with three leads and has one emitter and two bases
(Fig 17).
FET (Field effect transistor) : Fig 18a give a pictorial view of the component, and the related symbol to represent
the field effect transistor is shown in Fig 18b. The selection of the symbol is based on whether the FET is a ‘N’
channel or a ‘P’ channel one.
In the active components few basic components discussed have and many more advanced components associated
with modern circuits are in use.
