Installation
Immersion heater’s installation design rules must be taken into account. Immersion heaters can be implemented
vertically, tilted or horizontally.

It is mandatory that the heating length stays totally immersed in the liquid metal while working.
The safety distances between the immersion heaters and the furnace walls (or any solid object submerged in the
furnace, for example a rotor) to be respected are set out in the diagrams and tables below:
