Belt fixing at waist band

Objectives : At the end of this exercise, you shall be able to:
• prepare and fix belt carriers at waist band.

Procedure

Take the strips for belt carriers. Turn the raw edge of strips 1.5 cm inwards and again turn its edge by 1.5 cm.
(note: edge strip should not be visible from outside)

Baste and stitch along both the long edges keeping its edge on underside
Start stitching take care that its edge is caught by stitches (Fig 1)

Short edge of carrier is in line with lower edge of waist band. (Fig 2)
