International Women’s Day Celebration on10

International Women’s Day was celebrated with great
enthusiasm on 10th March 2025 at Kaushal Bhawan,
New Delhi. The event brought together women from
various verticals of the Ministry to honor and celebrate
their contributions and achievements in a vibrant and
joyful setting.

The celebration was graced by our Special Guest, Ms.
Rajeshwari S.M., Director, Rural Livelihoods, Ministry

of Rural Development, Government of India, and our
Chief Guest, Shri. Atul Tiwari, IAS, Secretary, Ministry of
Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE). Their
presence added immense value to the event, reflecting
the Ministry’s commitment to women empowerment
and inclusivity.

Senior officials from MSDE, including Ms. Hena Usman
Joint Secretary, Ms. G. Madhumita Das, Financial
Adviser, Ms. Trishaljit Sethi, Director General/Special
Secretary, DGT, MSDE, and Ms. Archana Mayaram,
Economic Advisor, MSDE also joined the celebration,
making the occasion even more special. The event
featured engaging games and activities that fostered

camaraderie and team spirit among the participants.
A special lunch was organized, followed by the
distribution of a small token of appreciation – a gift card
accompanied by a rose – for all the women attendees,
symbolizing gratitude and respect.

The celebration served not just as a gesture of
appreciation, but also as a reminder of the vital role
women play in shaping our society and institutions.
The day was filled with smiles, stories, and shared
experiences, leaving everyone with cherished memories
and a renewed sense of unity and pride.
