                                            Future Skills Forum 2025

                                                  DGT, MSDE and the Future Right Skills Network (FRSN) facilitated by
                                                  Quest Alliance and supported by Accenture, Cisco, JPMorgan Chase
                                                  and SAPLabs India co- hosted the Future Skills Forum 2025 in Kaushal
                                                  Bhawan  on  20.3.2025,  reaffirming  their  commitment  to  modernize
                                                  ITIs and to prepare  the students with future- ready skills and enhance
                                                  their employability. The event was marked with a key note address by
                                                  Director  General  (Training)  and  a  special  address  by  Shri.  Nilambuj
                                                  Sharan, Sr. EA /AS.

                                                  The event also witnessed the launch of Trainer Development micro site
                                                  and the ‘Introduction to AI’ digital module. FRSN also recognized the
                                                  efforts of key facilitators and achievers from various State Directorates
                                                  and ITIs during the event.

                                                  Ms. Trishaljit Sethi, Director General / Special Secretary, DGT, MSDE,
                                                  delivered a powerful address at Future Skills Forum 2025, highlighting
                                                  the  critical  challenges  and  opportunities  shaping  India’s  skilling
                                                  landscape. She emphasized the need for robust trainer development,
                                                  integration of employability and soft skills into vocational programs,
                                                  and upgrading ITI curriculums with future-ready skills to meet AI-driven
                                                  industry demands. She also called for stronger industry collaboration
                                                  through  initiatives  like  OJT,  the  Flexi  MoU  Scheme,  and  the  DST

        Scheme, driving demand-driven skilling and positioning
        India as the “Skill Capital of the World.”

        She  underscored  the  growing  focus  on  sustainable
        skills, citing 100 ITIs identified for green courses, and
        advocated for greater women’s participation in skilling
        programs,  especially  in  tech-driven  industries.  With  a
        call for global partnerships and industry-led innovation,
        her address was a clarion call for industry collaboration,
        innovation,  and  a  future-ready  skilling  ecosystem,
        empowering India’s youth to thrive in the job market.
        Project Spotlight: “Visitors Car/ Tourist Car” – A Step Towards Sustainable In-Campus Mobility by
        trainees of nsti kanpur

        A group of passionate trainees from the CITS-MMV trade
        at NSTI Kanpur have successfully designed and developed
        a low-cost “Visitors Car/ Tourist Car” aimed at providing
        efficient and eco-friendly internal transportation between
        NSTI Kanpur and RDSDE-UP.

        The project, undertaken by Shri. Ankit Kumar, Shri. Amit
        Kumar, Shri. Hari Prakash, Shri. Pankaj Nagar, Shri. Arjun
        Kumar, Shri. Shobhit Kumar, Shri. Atul Kumar, and Shri.
        Raju Maurya, reflects innovation through resourcefulness
        and practical skill application. The design was created using
        AutoCAD, with a focus on keeping the vehicle affordable
        and functional, maintaining a controlled speed range of
        30-45 kmph for safety within the campus environment.


        The vehicle is powered by a 100 CC engine centrally located
        for better weight distribution. Its chassis was ingeniously
