The Multimedia Department of NIMI successfully completed a wide range of activities during
August, contributing to content creation, digital outreach, and event coverage.

In content development, 3D modeling, 2D animation, theory lecture shoots, and video editing
were completed for 2 hours of content for the Electrician trade. Under social media engagement,
blended learning content videos, reels, promos, and online contest activities were uploaded and
conducted, including Trivia Time on PM e-Vidya channels to expand e-content outreach.

In publications, the August 2025 edition of the NIMI Newsletter which highlighted NSTI trainees
placements, New mobile application developed by trainees of NSTIs, collaborative MoU signed
by NIMI for cost free supply of NIMI books to ITI trainees, and many more interesting insights,
was prepared and published. Blended Learning content is now streaming in the 6 PM e-Vidya
channels and 1 Digishala channel, covering various trades.

In AR development, augmented reality models for the Fitter trade 1st year (18 models) & 2nd year
(11 models) were completed. The NIMI AR mobile application will be launching soon. More than
800 QR codes were generated for inclusion in the NIMI Books. Podcast scripts were prepared in
English, Tamil, and Hindi, with upcoming episodes designed to engage listeners with informative
skill development content. Stay tuned to know more.

In addition, CITS video editing for Mechanical Diesel and Fitter trades was finalized. The various
events held at NIMI, including Indian Organ Donation Day, the Independence Day rally, and flag
hoisting were captured.
