PLEDGE UNITED EFFORT ON SKILLING
AND ENTREPRENEURSHIP
Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship providing drones to the Women Self Help
(MSDE) hosted Regional Conference of Skill Groups (SHGs) and Skill University, Bihar’s
Ministers – Kaushal Manthan on 28th August Industry 4.0 partnerships, J&K’s Mission YUVA
2025 in Chandigarh with the attendance of Skill entrepreneurship scheme, and Uttarakhand’s
Ministers, Members of Parliament, and high-level industry partnerships with Tata Technologies
officials of 11 northern States and UTs of Bihar, and Hero.
Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, J&K,
Ladakh, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, The discussions stressed convergence, industry
and Chandigarh. partnerships, and creative financing structures
like the Skill Impact Bond, and the incorporation
of vocational training into NEP 2020 credit
schemes and apprenticeship-integrated degrees.
The conference ended on a collective commitment
by the Centre and States to develop detailed
State Action Plans, intensify industry alliances,
and utilize digital platforms such as the Skill India
Digital Hub to build a future-ready workforce for
Viksit Bharat@2047.
