• The use of a arbour press or hydraulic press is particularly suitable, when small bearings are frequently mounted.
Lubricate the shaft and place a mounting sleeve between the bearing and press resting it on the ring with in-
terference fit. The end faces should be flat, parallel and burr free.
• Drive in the bearing into the shaft, by applying the force by the press. (Fig 16)
