           Milling Operations:
Milling operations on the milling machine encompass a wide range of cutting processes, including face milling,
end milling, slot milling, and profile milling, among others. Each milling operation involves removing material from
the workpiece to achieve the desired shape, dimensions, and surface finish. This is accomplished by rotating the
milling cutter and feeding it into the workpiece along various axes, typically using the machine’s table or saddle
           feed controls.
           Face Milling:
Face milling is a milling operation performed on the flat surfaces of the workpiece to create a smooth, flat surface
perpendicular to the axis of rotation. This is often achieved using a face mill cutter, which features multiple cutting
edges arranged on the face of the cutter. Face milling is commonly used for squaring up the ends of a workpiece,
creating flat surfaces, or removing material to a specific depth.
           End Milling:
End milling involves cutting material from the side of the workpiece using an end mill cutter. End mills feature
cutting edges on the end face and/or periphery of the cutter and are used to create slots, pockets, contours and
other features on the workpiece. End milling can be performed in various directions, including conventional miling
(cutting against the direction of the feed) or climb milling (cutting with the directions of the feed) depending on the
           specific requirements of the job.

Drilling and Tapping on Drill Press:
           • Set up the drill press with the appropriate drill bits and tapping tools.

           • Drill holes for mounting screws or other fastener as needed, ensuring proper alignmentand depth.
           • Tap the holes to create threads for the fastener using the appropriate tap size and lubrication to ensure
              smooth threading.

           Grinding on Grinding Machine
           Set and preparation

Before grinding on the grinding machine, thorough setup and preparation are essential to ensure safety, accuracy,
and efficiency in the grinding process. This involves properly securing the workpiece or blanking tool component on
the grinding machine table or chuck using suitable clamping devices or fixtures. Careful alignment and positioning
of the workpiece relative to the grinding wheel are crucial to achieve precise grinding results.
