Skill Initiative
Shri Dilip Kumar, IAS, Director General, DGT attended the
“Transforming Skill Ecosystem” event organized by the World
Bank in collaboration with the Government of Maharashtra,
highlighting the collective efforts in strengthening India’s
skill development ecosystem.
On the sidelines of the event, Director General, DGT also
visited Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited, where he
interacted with apprentices and the management team,
emphasizing the importance of industry-led training,
apprenticeship, and future-ready skilling initiatives.
The visit reflected the continued commitment of MSDE
towards enhancing industry-academia collaboration and
promoting a robust skill ecosystem aligned with national
development goals.
