           3 Ruler

Rulers made from plastic, metal, or wood help mark and measure fabric and pattern pieces.
Rulers can be used for adjusting patterns and measuring small fabric pieces because hard rulers don’t curl on
           flat surfaces.
Transparent rulers are also used to easily mark and measure hems and topstitching lines and check grainlines
           etc.

           4 Flexible Curve Ruler
A Flexible Curve Ruler is made from plastic or rubber and has an internal metal core.

It can be bend to any shape for measuring or tracing.
It’s perfect for measuring, altering, and drawing awkward curved shapes like armholes and neck holes. The curve
ruler also helps to mark accurate seam allowances on curved borders and scalloped edges.

markers and to develop first patterns.
              • Color-coded paper (color on one side only) has two functions: to indicate right-side-
up of the pattern pieces and/or to indicate the design division to which the patterns
