Inspect the cutting for
– uniform and smooth cut or drag line
– straightness, sharpness.
– width of the cut (Kerf) Fig 8

Bevel cutting: Set the job as shown in Fig 9. Hold the cutting blowpipe (nozzle) at (required) 60 - 55° angle so
that the bevel angle on the plate will be 30 - 350. (Fig 9)
There should not be any obstruction at the underside of the cutline and the parting piece from the job should be
free to fall.
